Description: Desert Dance Theatre is accepting audition applications and video/dvd submissions for the Arizona Dance Festival 2009. The submissions deadline is on Friday, August 14, 2009. Submissions must be received at Desert Dance Theatre, PO Box 25332, Tempe, AZ 85285 or at Dance Theater West, 3925 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Application forms can be downloaded from: www.DesertDanceTheatre.org.
The Arizona Dance Festival performances will occur at the Tempe Center for the Arts – Studio on October 8-10, 2009 at 7:00pm. Each evening will showcase a different set of individual dance artists and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. The dance festival will feature Arizona dance artists selected by adjudication with special invited dance companies from neighboring states.
This exciting variety of dance artists come together to share an eclectic array of dances.
