ADC partners with Tucson Meet Yourself to promote the 37th annual TMY Folklife Festival, October 8-10. This year’s most beloved and largest celebration of the multi-national Arizona-Sonora Region’s folk and ethnic communities promises to be better than ever. Hundreds of performers, food vendors, folk artists, marketplace vendors, special events and more will converge in an expanded Downtown Tucson showcase area over the three-day, free Festival, which last year attracted 75,000. Five stages will showcase ethnic dancers from Southern Arizona, the greater metropolitan Tucson area and Phoenix.

Professional dance instructors and their dance teams will be teaching workshops on both Saturday and Sunday, October 9 & 10, at the Dance Traditions Stage in the Leo Rich Theater. You can learn to tango, salsa, polka, hula, or mambo from those that love their traditional dance forms and are very excited to share some basic steps as well as their joy in the dance.
