We strive to choose beneficiaries that address community issues\, especially those that affect marginalized and underserved areas. This year’s beneficiary is ASAVET CHARITIES. Asavet Charities is a 501(c)(3) (tax-exempt) non-profit organization created in Arizona in 2014 to help animals and their owners. Their goal is to promote affordable veterinary care for all people. We offer a welcoming space for dancers regardless of background or experience. Through our inclusive programs and productions we raise funding and awareness for Southern Arizona animal rescues and pediatric cancer organizations.\nAbout Us:\nWe are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Tucson\, Arizona. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. In 2019\, we premiered The Leaps for Lives Annual Spring Show which allowed us greater opportunity to do more good for Southern Arizona animal rescue organizations and pediatric cancer research organizations. Beautiful costumes\, undulating arms\, fiery footwork\, intricate Spanish guitar\, and soul-stirring vocals come together to deliver an unforgettable show.    \nChacón\, who has more than 15 years of international performing and production experience\, founded Inspiración Flamenca (now known as Julia Chacón Flamenco Theatre) in 2008 with the mission of celebrating the community nature of flamenco and promoting cultural understanding through this rich and complex art.
