DESCRIPTION:Ballet Tucson’s Spring Concert\, The finale to the 23/24 season! \nWe close our 2023-2024 season with four diverse and dynamic works. Known for his uplifting and energetic style\, celebrated American choreographer Kiyon Ross brings his third piece to Tucson\, Sum Stravinsky\, a charming tutu ballet with a twist. The Ballet Tucson premiere of choreographer Paul Gibson’s neo-classical ballet The Piano Dance delivers a unique blend of athleticism\, grace\, humor and sensuality highlighted by a brilliant array of piano solos. The audience selected winning work from our September 28\, 2023 Footprints at the Fox choreographer’s showcase will make its main stage premiere.
