DESCRIPTION:BlakTinx Dance Festival celebrates 10 years with Curtain Call\, bringing together an incredible lineup of established dance artists from Phoenix and beyond for two nights at Third Street Theater. Audiences will experience a dynamic range of movement and choreographic voices\, from contemporary and modern dance to dance theater\, salsa\, hip hop\, flamenco and more. Across generations and styles\, the festival features artists who have built rich bodies of work and made their mark in the dance field. Friday and Saturday feature two completely different programs—each night its own star-studded celebration of dance. Come for one night\, or better yet\, experience both! \nPresented by Latina Dance Project\, BlakTinx centers Black and Latinx choreographers and the stories\, perspectives and artistic voices they bring to the stage. SUMMARY:AUDITIONS - 2027 Arizona All-State Ensemble
DESCRIPTION:AzDEO is excited to announce the 2027 Arizona All-State Dance Ensemble Audition Opportunity — a prestigious\, audition-only team for outstanding high school dancers across Arizona. \nAuditions are IN-PERSON at Scottsdale Community College (in room PE 135) on October 10\, 2026 from 9:30 am-12:00 pm.  Video submissions will also be accepted. Please review the VIDEO REQUIREMENTS to prepare your video audition. \nThe All-State Dance Ensemble represents the best of dance education. Members serve as artistic ambassadors for the Arizona Dance Education Organization (AzDEO) and will be featured at the 2027 Arizona All-State Dance Festival hosted at Shadow Mountain High School on February 20\, 2027. Other performance opportunities may be created throughout the Spring and Summer of 2027. Ensemble members will learn a routine by Anna Jones and will receive official All-State recognition\, swag\, and state-wide recognition. The All-State opportunity is an audition-based honor program that recognizes exceptional talent\, hard work\, and dedication. The All-State Dance Ensemble is a significant accomplishment and one of the highest honors an Arizona high school dancer can achieve. \nAudition fee: $35.00 AzDEO Member rate (My teacher is an AzDEO Member!)\, $50.00 Non-Member rate (my teacher is not an AzDEO Member). \nThe 2027 All-State Dance Ensemble is supported in partnership with Scottsdale Community College Dance. \nMORE INFORMATION: CLICK HERE
