He has danced with numerous Dance Companies around the U.S. Including; Urban Souls (TX)\, Dulce Dance Company & Scorpios Dance Theater (AZ)\, Gaspard Dance Company (NYC) Lotus Contemporary Arts Co-Artistic Director (ATX)\, Halo Dance Company (AZ) and has guest artist with numerous companies as a independent artist. Jeremiah has had his worked selected at Breaking Ground Dance Festival\, BETA Dance Festival\, MultiPurpose Dance Works\, Las Vegas Dancing in the Desert Festival to name a few. Jeremiah participated in Dance Italia on a full scholarship in Lucca Italy. He has taught in over 6 states\, for numerous dance studios and multiple Master Classes. He also sits on the Judges Panel for 8 National Dance Competition and on faculty for Motiv8 Dance Conventions State wide. \nClass Description: Contemporary Modern Fusion\nThrough Contemporary modern fusion we will explore the length and physical ability of the body. While exploring classical lines and technical phrase works with Horton and Limon influenced movements. Prepare to test the bodies ability to fly through space\, the minds ability to express the deepest of emotions through gestural movement and the natural flow we create through transitions. A physically demanding but soul satisfying class! Come ready to sweat\, ready to invest\, and ready to dance your heart out!

This unique setting will give audiences a taste of what is happening in Arizona’s dance scene. It is a perfect platform for dance companies to get exposure and promote their work\, to have a performance opportunity without having to incur the costs of producing a full performance\, to experiment with new work\, and to connect with others in the dance community. \nWe are excited to announce that the Arizona Dance Festival 2019 has expanded to a two part event: \nPart One of the festival will be held at the prestigious Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts (SCPA) in Scottsdale\, AZ on September 19-21\, 2019. The SCPA is a landmark performance center\, seating 853\, which allows for a uniquely broad exposure\, larger audience\, a wide range of activities\, and a high level of technical capabilities. \nPart Two of the festival will be held at the beautiful Yavapai College Performing Arts Center (YCPAC) in Prescott\, AZ on October 3-5\, 2019. YCPAC is Northern Arizona’s premier entertainment venue\, seating 1\,064 and provides a professional performing experience for all. \nCompanies and individuals are chosen through an unbiased adjudication process\, with attention given to professionalism\, diversity\, creativity and dynamic performance. Applications are accepted from anywhere from around the world\, though preference is given to Arizona dance artists and companies. \nDANCE FILMS are also strongly encouraged for submission.  Proposals for teaching master classes are also being accepted. \nThe festivals will give you or your company great exposure\, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state as well as guest dance artists from beyond. \n________________________________________________________________ \nWHO CAN APPLY? – The Arizona Dance Festival is open to dancers\, choreographers\, dance companies\, emerging dance artists and pre-professional dance ensembles of any dance form. The performance is limited up to a maximum of 10 minutes per dance. \nAUDITION APPLICATION FEE – There is a non-refundable application fee of $25 for the first submission and $10 per additional submissions. \nPARTICIPATION FEES – If selected to perform\, there is a participation fee per dance/per venue of $50 (solo)\, $75 (duets)\, $100 (3-5 dancers) and $150 (6 or more dancers). Each performance will showcase different dance artists/groups. Jenny’s most recent honor is being named “Best Dancer” by the Phoenix New-Times in the 2018 Phoenix Best Of Phoenix publication\, where she was recognized for her woman centric work stating: “Gerena uses the female body to write the poetry of women’s strength and solidarity through movement.” \n\n\n\n\n\nClass Description: “THE SENSING BODY” (Modern/Contemporary)\nThis class will explore movement centered in Modern and Contemporary Dance techniques such as floorwork\, quadruped movement and momentum-driven pathways. Dancers will ground the body using strong weighted movements and progress into large\, fully embodied expressions using imagery and qualitative language to enhance the mind and body sensation. Guided explorations\, choreographed phrase work and a variety of music will be utilized to create a movement experience where dancers are left feeling the liveliness of their body and spirit. \n\n

The SCPA is a landmark performance center\, seating 853\, which allows for a uniquely broad exposure\, larger audience\, a wide range of activities\, and a high level of technical capabilities. \nPart Two of the festival will be held at the beautiful Yavapai College Performing Arts Center (YCPAC) in Prescott\, AZ on October 3-5\, 2019. YCPAC is Northern Arizona’s premier entertainment venue\, seating 1\,064 and provides a professional performing experience for all. \nCompanies and individuals are chosen through an unbiased adjudication process\, with attention given to professionalism\, diversity\, creativity and dynamic performance. Applications are accepted from anywhere from around the world\, though preference is given to Arizona dance artists and companies. \nDANCE FILMS are also strongly encouraged for submission.  Proposals for teaching master classes are also being accepted. \nThe festivals will give you or your company great exposure\, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state as well as guest dance artists from beyond. \n________________________________________________________________ \nWHO CAN APPLY? – The Arizona Dance Festival is open to dancers\, choreographers\, dance companies\, emerging dance artists and pre-professional dance ensembles of any dance form. DESCRIPTION:Dear Dance Artists and Companies\, \nI would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Arizona Dance Festival (ADF) that will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts Studio on October 18-21\, 2018. The festival will give you or your company great exposure\, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state and guests from out of state. \nThe Arizona Dance Festival is open to individuals and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. Up to 15 dance slots per show will be selected to be performed.
