DESCRIPTION:Led by the acclaimed faculty of Ballet Theatre of Phoenix and Guest Teachers\, our 3-week Summer Intensive Program is designed for ballet students interested in an immersive dance experience. Head to our website for pricing and schedules! \nUpper-division students participate in a daily study of ballet and movement including stretch\, turns\, pointe\, conditioning\, Broadway\, and contemporary dance. Lower division students will train in ballet\, jazz\, and contemporary technique\, along with conditioning and choreography. SUMMARY:Ballet Tucson Summer Dance Workshop with the University of Arizona School of Dance
DESCRIPTION:Ballet Tucson Summer Dance Workshop\nMay 31 – June 25\, 2022\n\nThe BALLET TUCSON Annual Summer Dance Workshop in cooperation with the University of Arizona School of Dance was established in 1986 to provide the serious dance student the opportunity to train and perform in a professional environment.\n\nHoused in the University of Arizona School of Dance facility\, the intensive workshop offers training for intermediate and advanced levels. Curriculum includes in depth study of ballet technique\, pointe\, jazz\, and modern dance. Special classes are offered in Russian character dance\, stage make-up\, classical variations\, conditioning\, and choreography. A teen/adult program is also available with classes held at Ballet Tucson on Tucson Boulevard.\n\nMaster teachers are brought in from prestigious companies and schools to offer students the exposure to broaden the scope of their dance education. A final performance will be presented at the close of the workshop. This performance features all students who have attended the entire workshop. Classes are held Monday through Saturday.
