There may be an occasional last-minute change and we don’t want you to miss it. \nRanae Boholl-Rochon is one of the amazing members of our Dance Fusion Staff! \nShe started her dancing career in Aberdeen South Dakota\, had apprenticeships at Chi-Town Dance and Giordano dance\, followed by a Distinguished Artist scholarship at Hope College. After moving to Phoenix\, she performed in Super Bowl XXX and XXXI\, at the Las Vegas Mirage\, and the Beverly Hills Hotel. She has performed with the Beach Boys\, Diana Ross\, James Brown\, Standing O Productions\, Contempo Tap Company\, Showstoppers Interactive Entertainment\, and danced in industrial shows for Oscar Meyer\, Pepsi\, Toyota\, Intel\, and America West. In addition to judging nationwide dance competitions and owning her own tap company\, Renae has been teaching at independent dance studios and public schools for almost 30 years. Though she is trained in all types of dance\, tap is her passion and will always be her first love.

The law was passed by the 101st United States Congress\, however from Tokyo to New York City and throughout Europe and Asia\, there are celebrations\, large and small. DESCRIPTION:Wall-2-Wall Tap Dance Center\, together with Az Tap Club\, present Rod Howell of United Taps\nRod Howell has become a global tap dance phenomenon through his online presence on YouTube and his website unitedtaps.com.  He’s a leader in the online tap community\, especially for his tap dance video dictionary and syllabus which is the largest in the world. He performed on the TV show Soap Net to his own musical composition and his taps were recorded for the nationally televised Miss America Pageant. His choreography is learned and performed throughout the world earning top awards at competitive events.  His extensive technical knowledge combined with his intense passion for tap make him a true one-of-a- kind in the tap world. Rod Howell has over 25 years of experience teaching and choreographing throughout the country.  He’s taught for numerous conventions including Encore\, L.A. Underground\, L.A. DESCRIPTION:Dear Dance Artists and Companies\, \nI would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Arizona Dance Festival (ADF) that will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts Studio on October 18-21\, 2018. The festival will give you or your company great exposure\, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state and guests from out of state. \nThe Arizona Dance Festival is open to individuals and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. Up to 15 dance slots per show will be selected to be performed. The applicant works will be adjudicated by a diverse panel of judges that are highly knowledgeable about dance. \nHere’s how to apply: \nYou must submit the following by July 20\, 2018: \n\nSubmit Application Form: https://goo.gl/forms/exSALznRGNrOxMjU2\nPay $25 non-refundable application fee ($10 per additional pieces)\n\nThe audition Video Link must be the work that you are planning to show that has not been seen in any major Metro-Phoenix venues within 1 months prior to the show dates or a work that is representative of your repertory. \nStudio Showcase – If selected\, you must sign a letter of agreement and pay a participation fee per dance of $50 (solo)\, $75 (duet)\, $100 (3-5 dancers)\, or $150 (6 or more dancers). Each dance may not exceed 10 minutes (no exceptions). This fee will go towards facility\, production\, publicity and other expenses. \nSite Specific Performances – This is a new addition to the festival that gives dancers an alternative performance opportunity in the outdoor areas around the Tempe Center for the Arts.
