SUMMARY:Application Deadline for the C2 Choreography Competition
DESCRIPTION:The C2 Choreography Competition is an event hosted by Scottsdale Community College (SCC) Dance to make connections between Arizona High School Dance\, SCC Dance\, and the Arizona Professional Dance Communities. \nONE PROFESSIONAL DANCE COMPANY WILL BE CHOSEN TO: \n\nReceive an $800 award — see eligibility guidelines below\nPerform the winning selection at the SCC Images in Motion 2018 Fall Dance Concert\, November 30th and December 1st\, 2018\n\nELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES: \n\nOnly one submission per company\nAll entries must be between 3-12 mins in length\nEntries can be any style of dance\nAll entries must be available to perform in the Fall SCC Images in Motion concert and attend a technical rehearsal for setting of light cues.\nAssumption of Risk forms will need to be completed and submitted for everyone involved in the performance prior to the Fall SCC Images in Motion Concert. Forms will be sent by SCC Dance Program Directors after awards are made.\nWinners will need to register as a vendor through MCCCD in order to receive their award\n\nAPPLICATION DETAILS:\n \n\nApply by October 1st\, 2018\, at 11:59pm\nVisit https://www.scottsdalecc.edu/c2/choreography-competition for more information and application instructions\nEmail ude.cceladsttocsnull@ecnadccs with questions or for more information

SUMMARY:AzDEO Student Choreography Contest DUE 10/15\, 1/15\, 3/15
DESCRIPTION:AzDEO Student Choreography Contest 2018-19: Submission dates 10/15\, 1/15\, and 3/15 \nAzDEO is pleased to announce its Student Choreography Contest for 2018-19. Students in middle and high school\, and college are encouraged to submit their choreography for adjudication. Only the choreography will be judged\, but performance can affect the quality of the choreography. Choreographer does not have to be a performer. \nSubmission Criteria \n\nThis year’s theme is “Landmarks” ~ can be a physical location\, a “landmark moment” in your life\, a landmark moment in history\, a landmark event.\nMaximum length: 4 minutes. Must include your name\, age and school at the beginning of the clip.\nWritten artistic statement must also be included with your name\, age\, and school.\nSubmissions are due Oct. 15th\, Jan. 15th and March 15th. Each deadline date is for a new round of adjudication.\n\nChoreography Criteria \nComposition\, Originality/Creativity\, Visual Effect\, Interpretation of Accompaniment \nHow to Submit \nSubmit MP4 clip (only) digitally to the google drive link ~ https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fXreUZZPRZpMrFCn2KhHtQMcJDTLjT7c. \nLimitations \nOnly FOUR submissions per school\, per each submission deadline. Four may be submitted in October\, 4 in January\, 4 in March. \nAzDEO will award a certificate to the student and school. \n
