SUMMARY:Arizona Dance Festival 2018 Application
DESCRIPTION:Dear Dance Artists and Companies\, \nI would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Arizona Dance Festival (ADF) that will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts Studio on October 18-21\, 2018. The festival will give you or your company great exposure\, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state and guests from out of state. \nThe Arizona Dance Festival is open to individuals and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. Up to 15 dance slots per show will be selected to be performed. The applicant works will be adjudicated by a diverse panel of judges that are highly knowledgeable about dance. \nHere’s how to apply: \nYou must submit the following by July 20\, 2018: \n\nSubmit Application Form: https://goo.gl/forms/exSALznRGNrOxMjU2\nPay $25 non-refundable application fee ($10 per additional pieces)\n\nThe audition Video Link must be the work that you are planning to show that has not been seen in any major Metro-Phoenix venues within 1 months prior to the show dates or a work that is representative of your repertory. \nStudio Showcase – If selected\, you must sign a letter of agreement and pay a participation fee per dance of $50 (solo)\, $75 (duet)\, $100 (3-5 dancers)\, or $150 (6 or more dancers). Each dance may not exceed 10 minutes (no exceptions). This fee will go towards facility\, production\, publicity and other expenses. \nSite Specific Performances – This is a new addition to the festival that gives dancers an alternative performance opportunity in the outdoor areas around the Tempe Center for the Arts. Each dance may not exceed 5 minutes (no exceptions). If selected\, you must sign a letter of agreement and pay a participation fee per dance of $25. This fee will go towards expenses for publicity and technical staff with audio and lighting equipment. \nQuestions?
