SUMMARY:Arizona Dance Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:Desert Dance Theatre will present the Arizona Dance Festival 2023 at Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA) Studio on September 22-23\, 2023 at 7:30pm. \nThe Arizona Dance Festival will feature 24 different dance artists\, companies and dance film makers\, showcasing an eclectic variety of choreography and dance performances from around the state of Arizona and out of state. This unique setting will give audiences a taste of what is happening in Arizona’s dance scene. It is a perfect platform for dance companies to get exposure\, promote their work\, and to connect with others in the dance community. Each evening performance will showcase different dance artists including emerging artists as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. \nA post-performance “Q & A” will be facilitated by the Arizona Dance Coalition directly after the show. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. In 2019\, we premiered The Leaps for Lives Annual Spring Show which allowed us greater opportunity to do more good for Southern Arizona animal rescue organizations and pediatric cancer research organizations.
