DESCRIPTION:ARIZONA DANCE FESTIVAL 2017\nApplication & Submissions ~ Deadline July 20\, 2017 \nThe Arizona Dance Festival (ADF) will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts Studio on October 5-7\, 2017\, co-sponsored by the Arizona Dance Coalition.  The festival will give you or your company great exposure\, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state and guests from out of state. \nThe Arizona Dance Festival is open to individuals and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. Up to 15 dance slots per show will be selected to be performed. The applicant works will be adjudicated by a diverse panel of judges that are highly knowledgeable about dance. \nHere’s how to apply: \nYou must submit the following by July 20\, 2017: \n\nADF application form\nDescription form\nAudition Video Link\n$35 non-refundable application fee ($15 per additional audition pieces)\n\nThe audition Video Link must be the work that you are planning to show that has not been seen in any major Metro-Phoenix venues within 2 months prior to the show dates or a work that is representative of your current repertory with your current dance members. \nApplications can be downloaded from https://desertdancetheatre.org/adf-2017-application/. DESCRIPTION:The Tucson Tango Festival is being held March 2-5\, 2017\, at a new venue — the 4-Star destination resort of Casino Del Sol — just six (6) miles west of I19 on Valencia. \nInstructors are: Alex Krebs and Patricia (Portland OR)\, Adam Cornett and Tilly Kimm (Providence RI)\, Alicia Pons (Argentina) and Daniel Arias (Los Angeles CA)\, Melina Sedo and Detlef Engel (Germany)\, and roving guest instructor Vania Rey (available for privates). \nTo view the Full Schedule: https://tucsontangofestival.com/full-schedule/ \nThere is a Beginners Bootcamp. It’s specifically designed for those first lessons in Argentine Tango\, or to review the basics if you have been dancing for a while.
