This unique setting will give audiences a taste of what is happening in Arizona’s dance scene. It is a perfect platform for dance companies to get exposure and promote their work\, to have a performance opportunity without having to incur the costs of producing a full concert\, to experiment with new work\, and to connect with others in the dance community._____________________________________________________________________________________ \nWHO CAN APPLY? – The Arizona Dance Festival is open to emerging dance artists and groups\, dance film makers\, pre-professional dance ensembles as well as professional dancers and companies from all genres and styles of dance. Applications are accepted from anyone from around the world\, but priority is given to Arizona dance artists and companies first. \nGUIDELINES – Dance works and films will be chosen through an unbiased adjudication process\, with attention given to artistry\, professionalism\, diversity\, creativity and dynamic performance. The performance is limited up to 10 minutes or less per dance. Dance works must not have been performed within a 30 mile radius from the event venue and not less than one month prior to the festival dates. THIS FESTIVAL IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT WHICH APPEALS TO A WIDE AUDIENCE.
