A festival\, done right\, focuses philanthropy and corporate support for arts and culture\, gains the attention of the media\, gets the community involved\, focuses collaborative and interdisciplinary energy\, and leaves a lasting and positive impact on the community\, year after year. \nDance is a big part of the event with a two-night performance outdoors at Human Nature Dance Theatre space at 4 W. Phoenix Ave. in downtown Flagstaff. Performances will start at 6pm and are free to the public. Human Nature Dance Theatre is planning collaborative performance events at Phoenix Avenue in the parking lot outside Human Nature Dance Studio\, Phoenix Art Gallery and the Hive. Our overarching theme is Climate Change and how we can live in harmony with our natural world. \nWe will have a central performance area with two or three stages and space for our audience to sit and stand. Don’t miss out – secure your spot today and be part of this vibrant\, dynamic and culturally-rich celebration! \nFounded in 2017 as a part of ASU School of Music\, Dance and Theatre’s Sol Motion project\, the festival is a three-day event composed of social and performance dance workshops\, lectures by visiting guest artists\, evening social dancing\, dance performances and more at various locations on the Tempe campus. \nLatin Sol encourages exposure to learning by bringing guest artists from out of state who provide varied teaching perspectives and encourage crossover interactions between multiple dance communities. \nHosted by the ASU Salsa Club\, Latin Sol is primarily by ASU students and alumni for the students and alumni. Although designed primarily with the ASU community in mind\, Latin Sol also welcomes and cherishes participation by outside members of the dance community. DESCRIPTION:Join Esperanza Dance Project for our annual Emerging Choreographers Showcase at the Tucson Jewish Community Center Jill Rosenzweig Memorial Sculpture Garden on April 7th. The event will include site specific performances choreographed by Esperanza dancers in response to sculptures in the garden as well as: art shown by local artists\, a founder’s talk\, and the premiere of EDP’s new middle school oriented performance ProjectRIS.
