Description: Affordable, family-friendly, live performance is coming to you from local dancers in Canyon Dance Academy and their teen company, Velocity Dance Company. The Dance Academy students will be performing their 12th annual dance concert on June 1st, at 2:00 and 6:30 p.m. The dance is the students’ interpretation of poems from the classic children’s book “Where the Sidewalk Ends.” Dances were created by each class as part of the Canyon Dance curriculum including composition and choreography, and feature dancers ages 4-30+. It’s a wonderful family event, approximately an hour long with great narration, storyline, costumes, and set. Many of these dancers were featured in last December’s production of “The Nutcracker Suite in Modern Bare Feet.”
