AzDEO Student Choreography Contest 2018-19: Submission dates 10/15, 1/15, and 3/15

AzDEO is pleased to announce its Student Choreography Contest for 2018-19. Students in middle and high school, and college are encouraged to submit their choreography for adjudication. Only the choreography will be judged, but performance can affect the quality of the choreography. Choreographer does not have to be a performer.

Submission Criteria

1. This year’s theme is “Landmarks” ~ can be a physical location, a “landmark moment” in your life, a landmark moment in history, a landmark event.
2. Maximum length: 4 minutes. Must include your name, age and school at the beginning of the clip.
3. Written artistic statement must also be included with your name, age, and school.
4. Submissions are due Oct. 15^th, Jan. 15^th and March 15^th. Each deadline date is for a new round of adjudication.

Choreography Criteria

Composition, Originality/Creativity, Visual Effect, Interpretation of Accompaniment

How to Submit

Submit MP4 clip (only) digitally to the google drive link ~ https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fXreUZZPRZpMrFCn2KhHtQMcJDTLjT7c.

Limitations

Only FOUR submissions per school, per each submission deadline. Four may be submitted in October, 4 in January, 4 in March.

AzDEO will award a certificate to the student and school.
