CONDER/dance is pleased to announce our open call for dance work for the eighth annual Breaking Ground festival.

Festival dates are March 20 – 21, 2015 at Tempe Center for the Arts.

Existing work and New Work Proposals are being considered for Breaking Ground 2015. One night of programming will be devoted exclusively to
Premieres this year.

If selected, Mainstage artists will receive a $150 – $200 performance stipend.

There is a $55 initial application fee. $25 for any proposals following the first.

November 15, 2014 is the deadline for applications.

All applicants will be informed of selection results by December 1, 2015.

10 – 12 works will be selected by our
Panel of Adjudicators:

Mary Fitzgerald : Associate Professor at Arizona State University School of Dance

Jessica Rajko : Co-Director – urbanSTEW, Assistant Professor at Arizona State University School of Dance

Carley Conder : Artistic Director – CONDER/dance

Ashleigh Leite : Former Assistant Director for Stephen Petronio Company (1997 – 2005), Former member of
Pavel Zustiak’s Palissimo, Office of Development – W.P. Carey School of Business.
