DancEstrella: Pop Art Extravaganza

FreePop Art Extravaganza explores how popular culture influences identity, sexuality, gender, and race. Utilizing paintings and the history of the Pop Art movement, connections are made to how the divine feminine voice has been oppressed and manipulated. Pop Art Extravaganza embodies theories of queerness, otherness, and feminism.
This production is directed and choreographed by Felix Cruz, EMCC Adjunct Dance Faculty. Performers are EMCC Dance students chosen through an audition process. This performance features mature themes and content not suitable for children.
DancEstrella: Pop Art Extravaganza will be performed on Friday, December 7th at 3p.m. and 7p.m. and Saturday, December 8th at 3p.m. and 7p.m. This event is open to the public, admission is free and seating is general admission.
