DancEstrella Gifts of Gratitude Avondale
Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” – William Arthur Ward
Gifts of Gratitude is DancEstrella’s premier performance at Estrella Mountain Community College’s new Performing Arts Center. Under the artistic direction of residential dance faculty Janaea Lyn McAlee, this collaboratively created production pays tribute to people, places and qualities for which we are thankful. Highlights include Resilience, choreographed by McAlee to an original score by composer/musician David Anderson who will perform live; and Steppin’ Time, commissioned for the EMCC-City of Avondale’s Veteran’s Day Celebration.
