Tales from Town – Flagstaff’s Haunted History told through Modern Dance
October 26, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm MST
An event every day that begins at 7:30 pm, repeating until October 26, 2019
DO you know the ghosts who haunt our mountain town? The resident spirits at The Monte Vista Hotel? Morton Hall at NAU? Spirits in the graveyard? Those who are departed but not yet gone? Want a fun frightful night to get you in the Halloween spirit? DANCES about our unseen residents will keep you looking over your shoulder. Our teen-age ghost-hunters will take us around town to find our friendly, or not so friendly ghosts. Canyon Movement Company’s Halloween Concert is back with guests Velocity Dance Company, Coconino High School, and FALA. Fun music and costumes assist this noted dance company as they present a lively, fun, and sometimes creepy concert for everyone. Come see a collection of dances about the things that give you chills.
A collaborative choreographic company, dances are created by individual choreographers in the group with story-telling woven into the dances, recounting tales of a haunted Flagstaff.
Performances are October 25-26, 7:30 p.m. at Coconino High School Mini-Auditorium (south end).
Tickets at the door are $10/general, $5/child-student with $1 off if you wear a Halloween costume!
Call 774-3937 for more information or check our website www.canyonmovementcompany.org .
This performance is supported in part by funds from the City of Flagstaff and Flagstaff
Arts Council, the Arizona Community Foundation, the Arizona Commission on the Arts with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, and private donors.
Events may be viewed in these formats: list, week, day, map, photo and month.
