More Info:
Both shows will be highlighting a rich collection of pieces, some upbeat, light-hearted pieces such as “A Night at the Paramount” taken from the full-length biographical show, “The Story of our Life”, the beautiful, heart-wrenching love story of Artistic Director, Rachel Wight’s parents. The shows will also feature cultural and environmental awareness pieces, such as “Poem for the Planet” and “Earth, Water, Air”. “A Decade of Dance” will also include Lauri Roesch’s own “The Parking Lot Project” as guest artists in both shows. This live performance event is unique in that the Saturday and Sunday performances will feature different works. Some dances will be performed at both shows but audiences will be treated to two different live events with new works being presented at each show. Both shows will include works, spanning modern, ballet, jazz and contemporary, in addition to a range of emotional depths in the pieces presented. This milestone event brings together past and present talent, with alumni returning to the stage alongside new members making their debut. The program includes beloved works from our archives, reimagined, as well as fresh new pieces choreographed for this special occasion.
