Description: Caliente! – a fiery and passionate contemporary dance event
Phoenix, AZ – December 1st, 2012 – An entirely new performance by Movement Source Dance Company will showcase original modern dance works with an emphasis on all things Caliente! – from burning embers to the heat of passion. Live music and unique choreography from Movement Source will make your senses sizzle and your skin tingle. Guest Choreographers, Fred Darsow (TX) and Chad Michael Hall (CA) contribute to the evening’s dynamic program. In addition, Movement Source welcomes local musician, Jonathan Crissman, to the stage to play live music for one of the dances as well as in between performances.
A select group of students’ work will be performed in conjunction with the professional company at the matinee performance on Saturday, creating a sense of community and showcasing emerging young artists for the audience. American Sign Language is provided at the February 22nd show.

About Movement Source Dance Company:
Movement Source Dance Company is a non-profit, 501c3 contemporary dance company in the valley since 1988. The work is multimedia and continually evolving in nature. The company is active in the arts community teaching and performing in Arizona, bringing dance to many in traditional and non-traditional settings. The company is on the Arizona Commission on the Arts Roster and is supported in part this season by Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, Scottsdale League for the Arts, Safeway, Target, Phoenix Coyotes Charities, and Phoenix Suns Charities.
