Join us in an inspirational, informative and fun afternoon!
Learn some new and helpful tips that will help you and your organization’s professional development and growth. Be prepared to move your body during the Flamenco/Spanish Dance Class.
There will be drawings for free prizes and gifts throughout the afternoon!

Meet Our Guest Presenters
Christina You-sun Park, Executive Director, Arizona Commission on the Arts
Bio: Christina You-sun Park is Executive Director of the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the state arts agency of Arizona. Park is a seasoned leader with a diverse background in arts administration, equitable creative placemaking, grantmaking, and cultural research. Previously she had served as the Associate Director at the Studio for Creativity, Place, and Equitable Communities at Arizona State University, working on programs and research that highlight the pivotal role of arts and culture in community wellbeing and development. Park has taught at Arizona State University and Phoenix College, and has spearheaded several leadership, workforce, and artist professional development initiatives.
Beyond her administrative endeavors, Park is also a practicing artist, having contributed to groups such as the Eyelounge Artists Collective, Salem Art Works, and Franconia Sculpture Park. Holding a Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, Park is deeply committed to promoting equity and the transformative power of art and culture to inspire dialogue and drive positive change.
Presentation: State of the Field: Arizona’s Arts and Culture Sector
Director Park will present on the current State of the Field, with a focus on key trends and developments on both the federal and state level. In addition, Park will also discuss the economic impact of the arts sector in Arizona and provide an overview of the grants available through the Arizona Commission on the Arts.

Leslie Criger, Articipant Liason, Artlink
Bio: Leslie Criger has been an active part of the Arizona Arts and Culture community for over 40 years. She is speaking as the Articipant Liaison of Artlink Inc, a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization founded by artists in 1989, the Artlink name is a guiding principle for the organization, as it supports stakeholders of the arts and culture community, amplifying its collective strength. Leslie will give an overview of Artlink, Art Detour and walkthrough of Artinerary.com with details about ArtistsAz. She will provide a handout with links to the sites and offer an opportunity to answer any questions at the end.

Jami Kozemczak, Executive Director, Ballet Arizona
Bio: Jami Kozemczak was appointed Executive Director for Ballet Arizona in May 2022, after having served as the Director of Development since 2015. Kozemczak works to advance the organization through a people-centered leadership model that focuses on building culture, expanding programs, and increasing revenue generation. During her tenure, the organization has successfully implemented a culture of philanthropy that permeates throughout the organization. She has secured more than $44 million in contributed revenue during her time at Ballet Arizona, and increased earned revenue by 29% in her first year as Executive Director.
Kozemczak has 14 years of experience in arts non-profit management includes fundraising, public relations, communications, donor relations, and marketing. Beginning her career as a marketing professional, she quickly transitioned to fundraising after discovering her true vocation was connecting donors to their passion. Jami holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Arizona State University. Jami’s volunteer work centers on mentorship; she has served on the AFP Professional Mentoring Program Committee for the past 6 years and has a passion for helping individuals invest in themselves and their future.

Jami will share stories of impact and engagement that will illustrate creative ways to build relationships with your audiences and donor base to grow your organization.

Diandra Adamczyk, Programing Manager, Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts
Bio: Diandra Adamczyk is an interdisciplinary artist questioning contemporary methods of performance and play within art. As an artist and organizer of public programs, her practice is situated in research, collaboration, and a multifaceted approach to making.
Proudly working in Phoenix, Arizona, Adamczyk holds a BFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Adamczyk is a board member of [nueBOX], a nonprofit providing residencies and community support for performance artists, as well as the Programming Manager of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. As a performance presenter, Adamczyk is committed to elevating cultural perspectives, equitable practices and accessibility in the arts.

Liliana Gomez, Choreographer, Producer, BlakTinx Dance Festival Phoenix
Bio: Liliana Gomez is a Phoenix-based artist passionate about creating inclusive and equitable spaces through dance. She has choreographed site-specific works for various public spaces and collaborated with local companies, schools, and universities. As the Managing Director of the BlakTinx Dance Festival, now in its 7th year, Liliana produces an annual event celebrating Black and Latinx choreographers. She also teaches a weekly dance class, served on the Artlink Artists Council, and actively participates in local arts initiatives.
Liliana’s commitment to the arts has earned her accolades such as the 2015 Phoenix Mayor’s Arts Award and recognition as one of PHX Magazine’s “40 Under 40.” She has participated in Jacob’s Pillow’s National Presenters Forum, was a 2021 National Latinos Arts and Culture Institute fellow, and presented her work at Cornell University. Liliana is also the recipient of the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture’s “Artists-to-Work” grant, supporting her continued growth as an artist.
Presentation: Learn About BlakTinx Dance Festival
Join Liliana Gomez, Managing Director of BlakTinx Dance Festival in Phoenix and a member of Latina Dance Project, the nonprofit that produces the festival. BlakTinx Dance Festival celebrates the work of Black and Latine choreographers in Arizona while also featuring guest artists from California, where the festival first began. The festival brings together both established and emerging artists, creating a space for them to share their work. Discover what makes BlakTinx more than just a performance—it’s a dance concert, a series of dance classes, a Q&A session, and a vibrant community gathering, Café y Conchas! Learn how the festival started and how it’s organized. The presentation will also highlight past BlakTinx presenters who have graced Phoenix stages, L. Alexander Patrick-Rolando and Steven Redondo, who will share how the festival has shaped their work and careers. The session will conclude with a brief Q&A, offering insights into the festival’s impact.

“Lolita” Elizabeth Zuniga-Blore, Artistic Director and Co-Choreographer, Hoorvash Dance Company
Bio: “Lolita” Elizabeth Zuniga-Blore is a native Texan. She began her training as a young girl in San Antonio where she studied and performed Mexican Folklorico, Spanish classical dance, flamenco, ballet, jazz and other progressive dance forms.
She performed with a variety of dance groups which paved the way for her to be the lead dancer and eventually the choreographer for internationally acclaimed celebrity and performer, “Charo.” Elizabeth performed on television as well as shows in Las Vegas, Reno, Atlantic City, Hawaii and on luxury cruise lines.
Elizabeth studied with José Molina, La Chiqui, Timo Lozano, Susanna Di Palma and Matilda Coral, among many others. While living in Minnesota, she was a member of Susanna Di Palma’s company, Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theater, and was part o the studio’s teaching staff. She lectured and demonstrated dance forms for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra Cultural Partners program an the Young Audiences of Minnesota series. She also received a grant rom the Jerome Foundation. During this period, Elizabeth was honored to be featured as a classical Spanish dancer in a special solo performance with the Minnesota Symphony Orchestra. She additionally performed as a dancer in the opera Carmen.
Since moving to Arizona, Elizabeth has performed with various groups and has taught or the Maricopa Community Colleges, School of Ballet Arizona, and Arizona School for the Arts. She has also taught numerous workshops and classes at dance studios.
Elizabeth currently serves as the Artistic Director, co-choreographer and collaborator with Heidi Javaheri Lisherness’ Hoorvash Dance Company.

Learn and experience the influence of other country’s stylization of Flamenco and Spanish Dance. Recommended attire for movement class: Character shoes and wide flowy skirt
