Herberger School of Film, Dance and Theatre presents Fall Forward

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the dance degree program at Arizona State University. The School of Film, Dance and Theatre celebrates that milestone with its annual “Fall Forward!” dance showcase, which is also the kick-off event of the school’s 2019–20 season of events.

The concert will feature the works of eleven stellar alumni choreographers who practice a range of forms, from classical modern dance to experimental dance theatre to urban dance practices. The line-up includes choreography by dance legend Daniel Nagrin (performed by Shane O’Hara), Lisa Chow and Step Raptis, Janessa Clark, Laurie Eisenhower, Jenny Gerena, Anthony Kelly (Akellz), Gina Jurek, Jorge Magana (B-boy House), Kristopher Pourzal, Leanne Schmidt and Marlene Strang (The Ladies). This is an exciting, one-of-a-kind event that showcases the program’s rich past, present and future – please join.

Performances are Friday-Saturday, 7:30 pm, and 2 pm on Sunday, September 22.
