Ballet Arizona kicks off a season of celebration with an evening of contemporary, classical, and world premiere works that push the boundaries of ballet and feature choreography from ballet legends, today’s modern masters, and up-and-coming new choreographers. Don’t miss the Arizona premiere of Sir Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs. Set in a Victorian ice rink, you will be swept away by the effortless grace, ethereal movements, and whimsical charm as these dancers transport you to a wintry 20th century England.

Choreography by Ib Andersen
A 20th Anniversary ballet by Artistic Director Ib Andersen that highlights and celebrates some of the audience favorites throughout the years. This ballet will be a creative way for Andersen to honor the Arizona audiences that have allowed him to fulfill his passion to teach and create art for the past 20 years.

World Premiere New Work
Choreography by Nayon Iovino
Nayon Iovino, named “Best Up-and-Coming Choreographer” by AZCentral presents a world premiere ballet to honor Artistic Director Ib Andersen’s 20th Anniversary. Don’t miss this fun and festive latin-inspired celebration.
