Ballet Tucson Spring Pop-Up Performances (Tucson)

Tucson Pops Orchestra’s Music For The Planet on Sunday, May 19th will feature four World Premieres and is intended as an (post) Earth Day Celebration of animals and our precious environment, people who make a difference in OUR World, and MORE.

Special Guests presented are:

• Ballet Tucson – showcasing two World Premieres and featuring the dance company

• Saguaro Music Theatre/Cameroon Hood – World Premiere (plus two vocalists)

• A special tribute to Susan Claassen from the Invisible Theatre

• Katherine Byrnes – Vocals

• Flam Chen – Animal Stilt Performers

Led by Maestro Khris Dodge, our full orchestra will fill the air with captivating melodies honoring our precious planet, our common humanity, and the desert we call home.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and indulge in delicious offerings from food trucks or reserve a spot in our beer garden. We will be offering wine tastings and highlight beers provided by our some of our local winery and brewery sponsors.

Explore our non-profit village showcasing nature conservation and environmental groups, including the Reid Park Zoo, Arizona Trail Association, Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection, and more.

Let’s come together for a harmonious celebration of our planet!
