Once Upon a Bachelor Returns For Season 2 With Second Chances
Mesa, Arizona, January 31, 2022 — CaZo Dance Theatre is bringing its full-length interactive show, Once Upon a Bachelor, back to the stage this Spring for Season 2.
After Aladdin ran off with one of the contestants after its debut season, producer, Ti, has been promoted. Her first order of business — invite all the contestants from the first season back for a second chance at finding true love with new bachelor Quentin Bartholomew Meriwether III, also known as Q to his friends.
“I knew going in to [Once Upon a] Bachelor that we could easily do multiple seasons,” says CaZo Creative Director and Choreographer, Bridgette Borzilo. “After the awesome response we received, I had no choice but to follow it up with a new season right away.”
Once Upon a Bachelor Season 2: 2nd Chances mixes fan-favorite characters from its incredible first season with new characters that are sure to delight audiences. New dances and voting opportunities will also provide audiences an entirely new experience with each performance.
“As my brother [assistant director Bryan Caron] and I started discussing how to bring the show back,” says Borzillo, “we wanted to make sure we kept what worked the first time, but find a fresh new voice. We both agreed we needed a new bachelor, and with that came new characters, new dances, and, of course, some incredible new endings.”
Once Upon A Bachelor Season 2: 2nd Chances will be performed live at the Phoenix Center for the Arts (1202 N. 3rd St., Phoenix, AZ) on Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.cazodance.com. Prices are $28 for general audiences, $20 for students, $50 for VIP (limited quantities), and $22 for virtual tickets. There are also discounted two- and three-show packages for those who wish to attend multiple unique performances. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the top of show and will include a thirty-minute pre-show you won’t want to miss. 10% of ticket sales will be donated to East Valley Dream Center, a local non-profit working on eradicating poverty through community outreach and free acts of service.
“The first season challenged the preconception of what dance could be,” says Borzillo. “We’re doing the same again, but this time around, the show is bigger, badder, and completely insane.”
