Featuring the percussive talents of nine tap dancers and a live musician on the stand-up bass, SOUNDspace explores the unique acoustics of the Webb Center’s performance space through the myriad sounds and textures of the dancers’ feet. The piece premiered in 2013 at New York City’s St. Mark’s Church and continues to expand the audience of tap dance, an original American art form.
