Don’t miss Echoes of Rhythm, our Faculty Showcase on Saturday, January 3 at 8:00 PM, featuring performances by the full festival faculty and live music by the incredible NuWrld Jazz Project—a night of tap and jazz you won’t forget.
The Phoenix Tap Festival returns Jan 1-3, 2026, for a powerful weekend of rhythm, community, and inspiration—hosted at Tempe Dance Academy and produced by Jenefer Miller, a visionary tap artist dedicated to honoring tradition, elevating new voices, and celebrating the soul of rhythm.
This year features an extraordinary guest artist lineup:
• Bril Barrett – founder of M.A.D.D. Rhythms and a master of musicality and community-driven tap.
• Karen Callaway Williams – a trailblazing performer and educator known for elegance, clarity, and timeless style; a Broadway artist and celebrated cast member of Riverdance.
• Steve Zee – an internationally acclaimed tap dancer, comedian, and tap historian whose performances blend rhythm, storytelling, and impeccable technique.
• Denise Caston Clark – a dynamic technician and inspiring mentor, former Radio City Rockette, and the owner/director of Tap Dance Detroit and the Motor City Tap Fest.
Lineup also includes Arizona’s finest tap artists and teachers: Jenefer Ardell Stickradt Miller, Suzy Guarino-Hall, Brendan Kellam, Megan Maltos, Beverly Pinkerton, Chrissy Jones, Bruce Goolsby, Kenny Jezek, Tap Dance with Mary Wall, and more!
