Free Master Classes with Hannah Victoria

Join us for a week of free master classes in contemporary modern technique with Hannah Victoria! Classes are from 10:00am-12:00pm, and space is limited, so arrive early. Come to one, several, or all of the classes this week. We hope to see you there!

Hannah Victoria is a curator, educator, and movement artist from Atlanta, GA. She holds an MFA in Dance and Choreography from Arizona State University and is currently an Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of Oregon. Her choreography blends contemporary and traditional practices rooted in the African diaspora. Her work has been presented at American College Dance Association Conference (Gala and National alternate), California State University Long Beach, Grand Canyon University, The Black Artist Dance Collective, Reed College, DeKalb School of the Arts, and Change Church, among others. As a performer, she has appeared with the Black Angels Collective for Tobe Nwigwe at Coachella and Milan Fashion Week. Her performance credits also include the Atlanta Jr. Hawks and Falcons, Usher’s New Look Foundation, Atlanta Ballet and Big Boi, andThe Nutcracker at the Fox Theatre, National Cheer Association College Nationals (All-girl champion), Universal Dance Association College Nationals (finalists), and more. Her solo work has been featured at the Restore Arts Festival (Milwaukee), Risk/Reward Festival (Portland), and Breaking Ground Festival (Phoenix). She has trained under the direction of artists such as Nicole Klaymoon, Kemba Shannon, Willow Swanson, Jade Solomon, Joan Rodriguez, Taimy Miranda, Tina Fears, and many others. Outside of dance, Hannah explores her faith, sound engineering, and fashion as part of her creative process.
