What is Camp Imagination: The Webb Center theatre in Wickenburg produces 2 two-week sessions of camp for 200 youth, first – twelfth grades. Session 1: June 3-14 (8:30 am – 1 pm) and Session 2: June 17-28 (9:30 am – 2 pm).

At the end of the 2 weeks, each group of 100 kids will put on a production of “Fiddler on the Roof Jr.”

Choreographer: We are looking for someone who can create movement/actual dancing for 12 of the show’s musical numbers. Half of the numbers will be relatively simple choral-group type staging numbers.

Salary: $3,000 which includes:
Prep time and choreographing the dances – which happens prior to the start of camp on your own time/at your convenience
Teaching the dances to the 3 age groups (1st – 3rd graders; 4th – 6th graders & 7th-12th graders) as well as the lead characters

*We can either provide housing for you in Wickenburg during the month of June or reimburse you for gas in addition to your salary.

We do have a Dance Assistant to help you teach the choreography since multiple classes will be meeting at the same time. By the second session, a lot of the teachers have learned the simple choreography/movement and are capable of lending a hand as well.
