“Learn how to Belly Dance” Students will learn basic bellydance techniques, including posture, shimmies, isolations, undulations and traveling steps. Class will include a brief introduction to the history, context, and philosophy of belly dance, as well as a brief introduction to Middle Eastern music. All dance levels welcome.

• Learn body awareness and proper technique & learn some hints to help increase flexibility.
• Receive a sense of personal accomplishment and achievement.

• Learn some relaxing and fun dance combinations.

Namira is a professional Performer, Choreographer, and Instructor of many styles of dance. Her dance specialty is Modern Egyptian, (a contemporary fusion of traditional Egyptian style, Classical Ballet, and Modern Dance). As an instructor and Choreographer, she works to balance personal interpretation of the music with excellent technical skills and a deeper understanding of the cultural aspects of the dance styles. Namira is the Director and Choreographer for the multi-award winning Middle Eastern Dance group, “Jaouahir Tahoe”, and “Diva Latina”, an all-ladies Latin Dance Group. Namira has choreographed and performed for film projects, television commercials, Broadway musicals, Las Vegas shows, and other theatrical productions. She is also the Producer and Director
