Character Dance! A Vibrant Addition to Classical Ballet Training!
Character Dance is a subdivision of classical ballet that blends traditional European folk styles with theatrical flair. This dynamic form emphasizes: Rhythmic precision, expressive storytelling, strong musicality, energetic, stylized footwork (often performed in heeled shoes).
Students build coordination, confidence, and stage presence while exploring movement patterns inspired by diverse folk traditions—all within the structure of classical ballet training.
Events may be viewed in these formats: list, week, day, map, photo and month.
Serving Arizona's dance communities and "creating connections" between the dancers and the general public.
