1st Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival in Downtown Phoenix!
Margaret T. Hance Park, 1202 N. 3rd Street, Central Phoenix
12:30pm-5:30pm

The product of a collaboration with Cultural Coalition and the City of Phoenix, this festival will feature mask-making workshops, La Procesión, Aztec dancers, traditional food, and more! The entrance is completely FREE and open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the show!

See Aztec Dancers, Las Calaquitas, La Visita, La Mascarada & Las Coronas. (Desert Dance Theatre dancers will participate as Las Calaquitas.)

Participate in an artist Mask-making workshop with Emily Costello

March in a colorful Procession with Las Flacas, 8-foot tall animated puppets

Shop at the artist’s Mercado, listen to live music, enjoy children’s craft activities, food and much, much more!

And don’t miss the festival’s closing performance by METALACHI, the one and only metal/mariachi band!
