Pedro Arandia
Born in 1973 in Buenos Aires.
He started dancing in 1991 and has studied tango extensively with the great old masters such as Mingo Pugliese, Esther Amelio, Pepito Avellaneda and Antonio Todaro, also he studied and working together with Gabriel Misse, Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games, Sergio Cortazzo and Gachi Fernandez. He started dancing professionally in 1994 at the well know Academia Nacional del Tango in Argentina. He has danced with famous orchestras such as Osvaldo Pugliese (at Gracias maestro! movie 1994), El Arranque (with Alejandra Holbert) and Alberto Castillo at Tango Mundo Festival, he was dancing at the Café Tortoni for several seasons with different orchestras and groups.

He has taught and performed in all the major cities of England as well as Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Holland and Argentina between 1996- 1999.

Australian period 2000- 2006
In 2000 Pedro was invited by LACA (Latin American Cultural Association) in Australia. He brought spectacular and creative tango shows to Australia with special guests. He was the main tango dancer at His Majesty’s theatre since 2001 until 2006 and was teaching at Western Australian University, Curtain University and TAFE.
Arandia has directed and performed in his own Tango dance productions, notably “Tango Cabaret” (2002), “Tango Takes 2” (2003) Tango Evolution (2004) “Tango Nuevo” (2005) and “Tango Art” (2006) and “A night of tango” (2007) at His Majesty’s Theatre (Perth) Cremorne Theatre (Brisbane) as part of Brisbane Winter Tango Festival 2003 and Forum Theatre (Australian Tango Festival 2004 – Melbourne).
In 2004 Pedro did a successfully art exhibition (including sculptures, paintings and prints) mixed with tango performance in Mont Albert, Victoria.
He was the producer and director of the Austango Festival 2005 and 2006 (Western Australia) he also was the organizer and host of the classification rounds for the World tango festival for Australian leg on 2005 and 2006

2007 Pedro Arandia and Anabela Brogioli did a tour over Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand doing shows in sold out theatres, teaching and dancing in 8 major cities with lots of students and great feedback.

2008 Pedro was dancing at Boca Tango show and Café Tortoni in BA, he did new tango painting and prints, he released a clothing brand: “Tangomate” that sells in many countrys and he did a tango documentary movie called “Buenos Aires Tango Night” (available on DVD).
Also Pedro did another tour to Australia and New Zealand teaching and dancing

2009 April- October, Arandia was teaching and dancing in Mexico invited and hosted by the Tec de Monterrey university in Guadalajara, Queretaro, Zacatecas, Leon and Distrito Federal, He also was painting new works for an art exhibition in October at Galeria Edea (Buenos Aires). In December he was invited by Teatro de la Repuplica (Mexico) to produce some tango shows with sold out tickets
2010 January- June: Mexico tour; Leon, Monterrey, Durango, Guadalajara, Distrito Federal and Queretaro, he produced 20 new art work for an art exhibition in Europe.
July – November: Europe; London, Dublin, Hamburg, Milan, Zurich doing workshops, performances and art exhibitions
December: Short tour to Mexico (Queretaro, DF, Monterrey, Puebla)

2011 January – March: Buenos Aires; tango classes at Defensa 1111 Petit Hotel, painting new art works.
April- December: Big Mexico tour; Cancun, Puebla, Queretaro, Durango, DF, Guadalajara, Leon doing workshops and tango shows, he also was studing at University of Mexico (UAQ) realistic painting and did new 20 art works for an art exhibition in Europe.

2012 January – March: Europe; London (teaching at various tango schools) Milan (late Feb) Hamburg with Tango Chocolate (5 workshops) and Amsterdam.
Currently he is London painting new 20 art works, teaching and performing tango.
April: Short Mexico tour: Cancun, DF, Puebla, Monterrey
