Description: Twenty two dance artists from Arizona are gathering on one stage to present their “art” for the community during this first Dance Festival of Southern Arizona held in Tucson October 19-20. We will be showcasing Afro-Cuban, Malambo/Salsa, Samba, Argentine Tango, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Percussive Movement Art — Step’s JUNK FUNK! There will even be a dance film by Flagstaff videographer Amanda Kapp plus Rueda de Casino with Art Garcia – TucSon Casineros.

Tickets are available at www.BrownPaperTickets.com  or through one of the performing companies for their “fundraiser.” They are discounted if bought in advance and sold online only through October 18, noon. General admission $15; $20 at the door. Children under 12, seniors 65+ and military $10 in advance; $15 at the door. $10 for ADC, AzDEO members and Dance Festival Registrants.
