Ballet Yuma’s THE SEASONS AND OTHER WORKS was a year in the making. Postponed from last year, dancers made their appearance on the football field of Yuma Catholic High School on Saturday, April 17, 1 pm. It was 90 degrees and sunny. “Thank you to our patrons, artistic directors, volunteers, dancers, staff and Yuma Catholic,” wrote director Kathleen Sinclair.

Forty-two dancers performed in total — 15 from the Ballet Yuma company, 9 from the Intermediate company, and 18 student from Ballet Yuma Academy. Each season in The Seasons was choreographed by a different choreographer:

  • Spring, Kathleen Sinclair, Ballet Yuma Director
  • Summer, Alyssa Myers (Ballet Yuma alum)
  • Fall, Emma M.K. Con, Ballet Yuma Academy Associate Director
  • Winter, Jon Cristofori, Ballet Yuma Director
